Currently we do not offer same day or 1 day service for orders. Orders placed on Fridays after 10:00 am will typically be processed the following business day. Exceptions can sometimes be made however, it is most common for the order process time to be 2-4 business days during non-holiday times and up to a week during holidays.
Unless otherwise noted, prices listed do not include shipping or applicable sales tax charges.
Sales tax of 9.2% will be added to all gifts that are delivered or shipped within the state of Washington.
Due to the ever increasing shipping costs with FedEx, our gift baskets will be shipped via USPS as our first choice within the state of Washington, or UPS as our second choice, FOB Bremerton, WA (USA) - Please ensure the recipient's address is USPS friendly.
Shipping charges are added to your order at the time of checkout. Special shipping arrangements – such as Next Day Air, etc. can be made at additional costs. Keep in mind this can be costly due to the size of the boxes gift baskets are shipped in. At the present time we ship only within the continental United States.
We recommend that you do not ship any gift baskets to patients in hospitals. We recommend shipping it to their home or a family member. Due to how fast patients are released from the hospital, and that the carriers must deliver to the hospital dock we have found that nearly 50% of the time the internal hospital delivery department either lost the package or left it on the dock for extended periods of time therefore, the package did not get delivered prior to the patient checking out. If you choose to still ship a gift basket to a patient at a hospital Exquisite Gift Baskets takes no responsibility and will not issue a refund or exchange if the patient has checked out, cannot be located or package is misplaced by hospital personnel.
Customer satisfaction is very important to us. Although individual situations and circumstances will vary, our general policy regarding returns, exchanges and refunds is as follows. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions and/or concerns regarding our policy.
If an item is unsatisfactory, please send us a detailed email within 3 days of receipt of your order. Please do not discard any of the packing/shipping materials, as we may issue a call tag to pick up the order. Refunds, either full or partial, will be determined upon review.
To return or exchange an item, send an email to us within 3 days of receipt of your order indicating your reason for the return. Please note returned items must be in new condition with unopened packaging and products in tact. Shipping costs for returns or exchanges will be your responsibility.
If an item is returned to us unopened because it was refused or undeliverable, you have the option to re-ship (shipping charges are your responsibility), or if you wish to cancel the order we will give you a 50% credit, excluding the shipping charges to cover our restocking costs. Please note that food items are not resold, therefore we must take a loss on these products if returned.
Most often our delivery providers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) have a signature release waiver and will leave packages at their own discretion (front porch, back door, neighbor, etc.) if they feel it is a secure location. Tracking information is provided on packages as proof of delivery. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after the delivery however; we will assist you with putting a tracer on the package for recovery or refund from the delivery carrier.
Insurance is provided on all of our items. If a product arrives broken or damaged during shipment, email us within 3 days and we will arrange shipping for you to exchange the item at no charge to you. Please keep the original box and packaging so a claim can be filed with the delivery carrie
It is the policy and goal of Exquisite Gift Baskets to secure, maintain, and honor the trust and confidence of all of our customers. It is our strict policy to NEVER release ANY information provided to us to a third party FOR ANY REASON.
Substitutions
Exquisite Gift Baskets reserves the right to make substitutions, as necessary, based upon product availability, season changes, and the discovery of new items. All substitutions will be of equal or greater quality and value and will always maintain the integrity and/or theme of the gift basket. During summer months substitutions will be made for melt-able chocolate products.
Customization
The designs shown on our website are just a sampling of gift ideas that can be created for you. We will be happy to customize an Exquisite gift based on your specifications and within your price range.
Gift Designs With Your Products
Exquisite Gift Baskets will be happy to include your products, brochures, business cards, etc. in the gift designs. For your convenience, we will keep them on hand at our location. Quotes provided for gift basket designs made up completely of your products require you to provide us with samples of the products to ensure we provide you with accurate pricing. Quotes provided otherwise will be estimates only, and may be increased after products are received.
Wrapping
Most of the designs on our website have been photographed without wrapping for better viewing. All gifts, prior to delivery/shipping are wrapped in FDA approved soft cellophane and topped with a beautiful hand-tied bow. We design our shipped gift baskets to ensure that they can be securely packaged to arrive in beautiful condition.
Wine and Alcoholic Beverages
Due to the complexities of various states’ laws regarding wine and alcohol, and in consideration of those who do not consume alcohol, it is our policy not to provide any gift baskets or gifts with wine or alcoholic beverages in them. We will be happy to substitute with a gourmet quality non-alcoholic wine or sparkling cider beverage.
